Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call from his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. During their conversation, the two leaders discussed the evolving regional situation and reviewed the progress of ongoing peace efforts.
According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed appreciation for Qatar's unwavering support for Pakistan's peace initiatives, highlighting the strong relationship between the two nations. Both leaders emphasized the importance of constructive engagement by all parties to ensure the success of the ongoing peace efforts.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also extended his warm regards to Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, expressing anticipation for the Amir's upcoming visit to Pakistan. He noted that the visit would contribute to strengthening and expanding the longstanding Pakistan-Qatar partnership.
