Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said by rejecting chaotic politics, the people of Pakistan have prioritized improvements in economic policies. In a statement on the country's political and economic situation on Sunday, he said people want a reduction in inflation, solutions to their problems, and economic improvement. Shehbaz Sharif stressed the need to improve the economic condition of the people instead of focusing on filling grounds for public rallies. He said we will hold rallies in 2028, while now is the time to work hard to fulfill the promises made to the people. The Prime Minister said economic recovery is linked to political stability and political chaos means disrupting the process of providing relief to the people. He said the people supported the economic development by playing a role in strengthening political stability. He added that national unity for political stability will guarantee Pakistan's bright economic future and relief from inflation. Shehbaz Sharif urged the nation, political parties, institutions, and provinces to join hands in tackling economic challenges and terrorism. He mentioned that a lot of time of the nation and the country has been wasted in political chaos and now wasting more time is not in the interest of the country and the nation. The Prime Minister said the Federal Government will remain committed to the policy of fully supporting the resolution of public issues, reducing inflation, and ensuring equitable development in collaboration with all provinces. He said the inflation has returned to a single-digit and economic conditions are improving. He added rise in exports, stabilization of the rupee, increase in remittances, and reduction in interest rate are all clear signs of economic progress. Shehbaz Sharif said ensuring this IMF programme as the last one should be the goal of all of us and that will be the real success. He urged every province and institution to play their role in addressing public issues as neither the economy nor society will improve with abus e, bullets, chaos, and disorder. Source: Radio Pakistan
