Lahore: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized that promoting foreign investment in the country is the government's top priority. He made this statement during a meeting with a delegation of influential business figures from the United Kingdom, led by Zuber Issa, in Lahore today. According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted the provision of optimal facilities for the business and trading community through the Special Investment Facilitation Council's one-window operation. He asserted that recent improvements in the country's economy, driven by government initiatives, have boosted investor confidence. During the meeting, the Prime Minister encouraged the delegation to consider investing in Pakistan. Discussions also covered potential new areas of cooperation and ways to strengthen business-to-business relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom. The UK delegation expressed their appreciation for the Prime Minister's economic policies and conveyed their confidence in the stability and sustainable development of Pakistan's national economy.
