Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples Party have gained overwhelming majority in second phase of Local Government elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the results so far received on 708 seats out of total 787 seats, PML-N bagged 129, PPP won 104 and independents 199.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), however emerged as a single largest party with 229 seats; whereas JK PP bagged 28 seats, Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan 7, and Muslim Conference, Jammat-e-Islami, and Jamiat Ulema Islam achieved 4 seats each.
