Pakistani students enrolled in the MBA program of Harvard University met with Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal in Islamabad today. Speaking on the occasion, he termed them as the guarantor of the bright future of country. Acknowledging the splendid credentials of students, the Minister said that the doors of public sector are always open for them. He said that universities like Harvard are looking for future leaders like you. He added that government launched overseas scholarship scheme to enable Pakistani students for studying abroad. Highlighting the significance of China Pakistan Economic Corridor, Ahsan Iqbal said that several projects related to the essential infrastructure including highway construction and energy projects were completed under the banner of CPEC. He termed political stability in the country as inevitable for country's economic growth. The Minister said that five-year development plan is being finalized under the 5Es framework. On their part, the students termed the interaction with the Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal as fruitful as they were apprised important affairs related to the Ministry. Source: Radio Pakistan
