President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that mosques can play a crucial role in providing education to out-of-school children for socio-economic development of the country. He was chairing a meeting in Karachi today to discuss the role of Masajid and Madaris in promoting education. The President highlighted that mosques hold a central place in Muslim society and can be effectively utilized to educate people about preventing diseases and addressing other important social issues. During the meeting, it was announced that free education will be provided to children from the first to fifth class under the Masjid Free School program. Additionally, the participants were informed that dental health check-ups, ultrasounds, X-rays, blood pressure checks, and sugar tests will be conducted free of cost at the Masjid free clinic.
