Punjab CM Directs Completion of Health Centers and Roads by Fiscal Year End

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed the completion of the first phase of construction and rehabilitation work of health centers and roads throughout the province by the end of the current fiscal year. Chairing a meeting in Lahore, she emphasized the need for timely completion of these projects to enhance infrastructure and health services across Punjab.

According to Radio Pakistan, Chief Minister Nawaz announced that new Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics will be established to provide healthcare facilities to people residing in remote areas. These clinics aim to ensure that quality medical services are accessible to underserved communities, thereby improving the overall health standards in the province.

Furthermore, the chief minister highlighted the importance of upgrading and restoring connecting roads, which will significantly benefit millions of citizens. She pointed out that improved road infrastructure is crucial for facilitating better connectivity and mobility across Punjab.

Additionally, Chief Minister Nawaz stated that the development of Field to Market Roads is expected to stimulate economic activities. By enhancing transportation links between agricultural fields and market areas, these roads will support the agricultural sector and contribute to economic growth in the region.
