Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has reiterated her commitment to improving modern healthcare facilities, particularly in the remote areas of the province. She made this pledge while chairing a meeting in Lahore to review key developments in the province’s health sector.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting resulted in a decision to outsource rural health centers to enhance their efficiency. The participants were informed that over seven hundred health centers have been renovated, and free medicines worth over 6.7 billion rupees have been distributed across the province.
