Governor Punjab Muhammad Baligh-Ur-Rehman congratulated Radio Pakistan for launching video podcast service and sports channel.
In an exclusive interview with our Radio Pakistan Correspondent Sajjad Parvez at Islamia University Bahawalpur, he lauded the administration's decision to upgrade the Radio Pakistan's transmission from audio to video mode to meet with the latest challenges of the broadcasting world.
Later talking with reference to the World's Soil Day being observed today, Punjab Governor said Pakistan is self-sufficient in the production of agriculture produce in the region.
He said that agriculture sector is playing an important role for ensuring our food security which generates revenue of billions of rupees annually.
Baligh Ur Rehman said that effective steps are being taken by the government to enhance per acre yield.
He lauded the performance of Islamia University Bahawalpur for the promotion of education.
Earlier, Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh-Ur-Rehman along with Vice Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur Engineer Professor Dr Athar Mehboob cut the cake to mark the World Soil Day at Islamia University Bahawalpur on Monday.
