Relief-Oriented Budget to Ease Burden on Salaried Class: PM

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his deepest gratitude to Almighty Allah and the nation for their prayers, which resulted in achieving economic stability and providing relief to the people in the budget.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister expressed his appreciation to every citizen of Pakistan who demonstrated patience and humbleness in the most difficult circumstances, faced difficulties, and played an overwhelming role in the economic stability of their country. He reiterated his promise to the people that once economic stability is achieved, its benefits would be directly passed on to the common man, signaling the start of a period of prosperity.

Shehbaz Sharif remarked that the improvement and relief he had promised following the difficult period have now commenced. He described the budget as relief-oriented and focused on public welfare. It is designed to reduce the burden on the salaried class, increase exports, promote industries, foster agricultural development, and enhance investment and economic development.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the main aim of the budget is to ensure that the benefits of a strong economy are directly passed on to the people and that every section of society is involved in the development process. He expressed gratitude to Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, the entire economic team, the Chief Ministers of the four provinces, and all relevant institutions for their tireless work and professionalism in making this relief possible.

He highlighted the government's concrete and effective steps to provide people with their own homes under the Prime Minister's Apna Ghar program, offer tax relief, create employment opportunities for the youth, reduce the burden on the middle class, and promote business activities. The Prime Minister also expressed his resolve that the journey of development would continue at a fast pace as the government commits to taking all possible steps for the welfare of the people.
