The Sindh cabinet was informed today (Saturday) that an amount of 329.02 billion rupees has been earmarked for development schemes in the province.
The cabinet, which met in Karachi with Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in the chair, reviewed the pace of development.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that six hundred and three development schemes will be completed in first quarter of the current financial year at the cost of over fourteen billion rupees.
He directed cabinet members to pay attention on the timely completion of development schemes.
He said 269 development schemes costing over nineteen billion rupees will be completed in second quarter of the current financial year, while 162 schemes at a cost of over ten billion rupees will be completed in third quarter of the financial year.
