Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, has directed the Workers Welfare Fund to prioritize skill development initiatives and proposed collaboration with external companies to establish state-of-the-art skill development institutes. During his visit to the Workers Welfare Fund, the Minister expressed his appreciation for the Fund's overall achievements and emphasized the need to expedite the processing of welfare grants to ensure that workers benefit in the shortest possible time. He was briefed on the Fund's operations and achievements. During the briefing, the Minister highlighted that major economically developed countries, including Saudi Arabia, Germany, Korea, and Japan, are experiencing a shortage of skilled human capital. Highlighting the critical need for skill development globally, the Minister noted that economically strong countries are facing a shortage of skilled human capital. He stressed that Pakistan should seize this opportunity by focusi ng on skill development for its youth.
