Security Forces Kill 21 Khwarij in Khyber District

Khyber: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, twenty-two Khwarij have been killed while eighteen injured by Security Forces during various intelligence-based operations since 14th of last month in Khyber District.

According to Radio Pakistan, these intelligence-based operations were conducted in response to numerous terrorist incidents in the Tirah area of Khyber District against security forces as well as innocent civilians, resulting in several casualties.

The ISPR stated that the intelligence-based operations will continue until peace in the area is restored and the Khwarij are eliminated, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.

President Asif Ali Zardari has paid tribute to the security forces for killing twenty-two Khwarij during various operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In a statement, he appreciated the bravery of the forces for targeting Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists during these intelligence-based operations in Khyber District.

He remarked that the killing of twenty-two terrorists and injuring eighteen others in various operations is a major achievement of the security forces. The President expressed the commitment to continue the operations of the security forces until the complete elimination of the terrorists. He also expressed an unflinching resolve to root out terrorist elements and defend the motherland.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has appreciated the security forces for killing twenty-two Khwarij during various intelligence-based operations since the 14th of last month in Khyber District. In a statement, the Prime Minister said the entire nation is standing by the security forces in the war against terrorism. He reaffirmed the government's determination to continue the war against the scourge of terrorism until its complete elimination from the country.
