Shehbaz Sharif to Undertake Four-Day Official Visit to Saudi Arabia

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is set to embark on a four-day official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia starting tomorrow. This visit underscores the strengthening ties between the two nations and aims to explore new avenues for collaboration.

According to Radio Pakistan, the delegation accompanying the Prime Minister will include Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, alongside key Federal Ministers and senior officials. The visit is expected to focus on enhancing bilateral relations in various sectors.

During his stay, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will meet with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. The discussions will center around boosting trade, enhancing partnerships in key sectors, and fostering economic collaboration. The agenda will also cover mutual interests and concerns, including global and regional developments, particularly the situation in Gaza, the evolving dynamics in the Middle East, and issues related to the Muslim Ummah.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan stated that the Prime Minister's visit highlights the deep-rooted historical relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. It is anticipated to pave the way for increased mutual understanding, enhanced cooperation in trade and investment, and greater diplomatic coordination on bilateral, regional, and global matters.
