Sindh Government to Recruit Health Staff Amid Shortage

Karachi: The Sindh Government has decided to recruit vaccinators, technical staff, and nurses to address the shortage of staff in health facilities across the province. This decision was made during a meeting of the health department, chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting resolved to enhance healthcare infrastructure by providing 125 units of secondary-level health facilities in district and taluka headquarters hospitals, as well as rural health centers throughout Sindh. In addition, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah directed the construction of a medical and surgical tower at Civil Hospital Karachi and the establishment of an Institute of Urology in Larkana to better serve the population.

Further initiatives include the approval of 11 Nutrition Stabilization Centers in the province, aimed at improving nutritional health among residents. These measures reflect the government's commitment to enhancing healthcare services and infrastructure in Sindh.
