Lahore: Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan stated that transforming the historic ties between Pakistan and Iran into trade relations is crucial for the development of both nations. He shared these insights during a meeting with a delegation led by Iranian Parliament member Muhammad Mirzaei in Lahore today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on the enhancement of parliamentary and economic relations between Pakistan and Iran. Speaker Punjab Assembly emphasized that parliamentary contacts play a vital role in further strengthening the bilateral ties between the two countries.

During the meeting, Muhammad Mirzaei expressed Iran's keen interest in strengthening its relations with Pakistan across various sectors. He extended an invitation to Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan to visit Iran, underscoring the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation between the two nations.
