UK based company Delivery Associates has committed to extend bilateral cooperation with Pakistan with a focus on mutual strategic goals and sustainable economic development. The commitment was expressed by Founder and Chairman of Delivery Associates Sir Michael Barber during meeting with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb in Islamabad today. Sir Michael Barber appreciated the Federal Budget 2024-25 and the structural reforms in taxation implemented by Pakistan. Recognizing the challenges involved, he discussed the priority areas of Pakistan's homegrown economic plan. Sir Michael reaffirmed the commitment to continue supporting Pakistan and build on previous collaborative efforts with it. Speaking on the occasion, the Finance Minister outlined key priority areas of the government including taxation reforms, energy sector reforms, and restructuring of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs). Underscoring the structural reforms within the framework of IMF program, the Federal Minister highlighted initiatives aimed at enhancing exports, attracting Foreign Direct Investment, and the privatization efforts.
