Veteran Actor Talat Hussain laid to rest in Karachi

Veteran actor Talat Hussain has passed away in Karachi after a prolonged illness. Talat Hussain was one of the pioneer voices of Radio Pakistan and a legendary actor of television and cinema. He was born in 1940 in Delhi and his professional career spans over half a century. Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has expressed profound grief and sorrow over his sad demise and prayed for elevation of his ranks in Heaven. He said Talat Hussain's valuable services for fine arts will be remembered for long. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Talat Hussain. In a condolence message, he said that late Talat Hussain was a legendary actor whose dialogue delivery was acclaimed for a long period of time. The Prime Minister said the void left by his death cannot be filled. He expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for the high ranks of the departed soul. Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has express ed heartfelt condolences and profound sorrow over the demise of the esteemed actor and prolific voice artist of TV, film, theatre and radio Talat Hussain. The Information Minister, in his condolence message, said late Talat Hussain was a unique artist who brought every character to life with his voice and acting. He said late Talat Hussain showcased exceptional acting skills in the London Channel Four's TV series 'Traffik'. He said that late Talat Hussain was a true mentor and his passing has deprived the world of arts of a great artist.
