The World Bank has approved forty-six million dollars for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health department to promote access to child health services in selected districts of the province.
The funds will be used for the Citizen Centered Service Delivery Project of the provincial government.
The child welfare grants will benefit about three-hundred thousand children under the age of two.
The families of these children will receive an amount of twelve-thousand five-hundred rupees over five visits for attending the health awareness sessions and growth monitoring of their child.
