Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal says work on the five corridors will be started in the upgraded version of CPEC. Speaking in a TV program, he said the first corridor would be a 'corridor of growth' to bring rapid economic development, while the second corridor would be a 'corridor of livelihood' to eradicate poverty. Talking about the third corridor, which he called the 'corridor of innovation', will be on artificial intelligence while the fourth one will deal with 'green economy'.
