Security Forces Eliminate 23 Khwarij in Targeted KP Operations

Khyber pakhtunkhwa: Security forces, during a series of intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, have killed 23 more Khwarij belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna-ul-Khwarij network, including a key ring leader Jan Meer alias Toor Saqib.

According to Radio Pakistan, the security forces conducted operations in a determined effort to eliminate terrorist threats and dismantle Khwarij networks in Datta Khel, Spinwam, and Bannu.

During the operations, they effectively engaged multiple Khwarij locations and killed 23 Khwarij after intense exchanges of fire.

The Kharji Jan Meer was highly wanted by security forces, and the government had fixed a head money on him for his involvement in numerous terrorist activities, including killing of security personnel and innocent civilians.

The neutralization of Kharji leader is being considered as a significant blow to Khwarij networks operating in these areas.

Security forces also recovered weapons, ammunition, a large cache of explosives, and improvised explosive devices from the killed Khwarij.

During sanitization operations, a complex network of underground tunnels and bunkers used by Khwarij was also unearthed and subsequently destroyed by security forces.

The relentless counter-terrorism campaign, under the vision 'Azm-e-Istehkam' by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan, will continue at full pace to eliminate menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
